BYD Auto Patent List

At last year's Shanghai Auto Show, BYD showed off a car called E-Seed? GT's concept car is said to be the prototype of Korea at that time. Now, the "Han" real car has officially declared the new car access catalogue, and it has been confirmed that it is based on E-Seed? Some elements of GT concept car have been developed, so many elements of concept car can only be treated as conceptual elements. But in the latest catalogue declaration, we still saw BYD's application for splicing three screens. That is to say, at that time, I did move the relevant thoughts, but the final production version of "Han" gave up the three-screen plan, but it doesn't mean that the three-screen plan will be abandoned in the future, and it may pop up on that day.

From the comparison above and below, it can be clearly seen that the shape of the front of the mass-produced Korean EV version is almost in accordance with E-Seed? GT concept car should be made, of course, the production version of the car has changed from sports car style to ordinary car, which has led to the change of the whole modeling proportion, so the details will inevitably be adjusted accordingly, but the elements are basically close, and to be honest, the focus of this paper is not on the appearance level.

The biggest highlight of the interior concept car is the appearance of three splicing screens, and from the information published in the official video screenshot itself, the three screens can slide and rotate independently. I dare not say that all three are rotating, at least the rotation of the middle one is beyond doubt.

In another screenshot, you can clearly see that three screens are spliced together to form a complete screen with fish, which is quite huge. In fact, the three screens themselves are not BYD's initiative. At least Li ONE is a three-screen design, and some models have three screens placed independently (fixed), but this splicing independent rotation is the first design adopted by BYD.

The only problem now is that after mass production, the interior is completely changed, and there is no concept car at all, which is basically consistent with the idea of T-shaped center console started by Song MAX. Of course, the details are quite eye-catching, and the black painted surface in the middle with spanwise chrome-plated decorative pieces on both sides is a great embellishment design.

However, in the latest patent application map, there is still a three-screen concept announced at the end of May last year. From the specification and size, the three-screen scheme of the concept car should be patented directly. It can be clearly seen in the application drawing that the in-vehicle interconnection system is integrated after the screen splicing, and at the same time, pay attention to the details that are not reflected in an official video, that is, the screen border is very obvious, and the border can be clearly seen after splicing, and it is not completely mirrored. It is not excluded that this is one of the main reasons for giving up eventually. After all, the three screens can slide, the screen contact is not completely fixed, and the friction between them is inevitable when driving. Therefore, the border must appear, at least it is also an anti-wear guarantee. In contrast, these complicated problems need not be considered in mass production of a single rotating screen in Korea.

You can also see the dividing line from the back. It's really hard to draw a conclusion whether it can be mass-produced. The key is that the setting of independent rotation is not easy to realize. The fishing net is not small even after splicing, which becomes a problem for the driver. In contrast, Li ONE's fixed three-screen scheme embedded in the central control is not affected by this. Of course, BYD still wants to achieve it. The problem that the car may be limited by the height of the car cannot be realized immediately, so the height of the car can be guaranteed to some extent. Wait patiently, maybe BYD will give us more surprises.
