What is a visible light photocatalyst?

I don't know. I only know that photocatalyst is a kind of catalyst, and it will only produce catalysis when there is light. It does not participate in chemical reactions, and its properties are very stable. However, under illumination, it converts light energy into chemical energy, excites surrounding water molecules and oxygen molecules to ionize, and releases hydroxyl radical intermediates with the highest oxidation potential, thus showing valuable photoelectric effect. It can oxidize and decompose harmful gases. There are many kinds of photocatalysts, including oxide sulfide semiconductors such as titanium oxide (TiO2), zinc oxide (ZnO), tin oxide (SnO2), zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and cadmium sulfide (CdS). In the field of indoor environmental protection, nanometer titanium dioxide (TiO2) is the most commonly used one, with stable properties and good photocatalytic performance. Nano-titanium dioxide (TiO2) is used as a photocatalyst of Maya blue.
