What are the conditions for the registration of design patents in Malaysia?

According to the Industrial Design Law, an industrial design should be novel and visually attractive, otherwise it may not be registered.

If the industrial design is only slightly different from it or its characteristics are not obvious, and it is often used in related industries, and has been made public anywhere in Malaysia before the application date or the relevant priority date, or the theme of another application for industrial design registration filed by another applicant with priority date in Malaysia, as long as the theme is included in the industrial design authorized by another application, the industrial design submitted for registration is not novel.
