1, basic situation
Guizhou Normal University is located in Wudang District, Guiyang City. It is a provincial public full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was selected as the basic capacity building project of colleges and universities in the central and western regions. The school's predecessor was Guizhou Education College, which was founded in 1978. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into a full-time undergraduate college in March 2009.
