Introduction to Zhongyuan Institute of Technology Zhongyuan Institute of Technology is a high-level teaching-oriented university, which is mainly engineering, with distinctive characteristics of textile and garment and related disciplines, and the coordinated development of engineering, management, literature, science, economics, law, philosophy, history and art. The school was founded in 1955, formerly known as Zhengzhou Institute of Textile Technology, and is affiliated to People's Republic of China (PRC) Textile Industry Department. 1998 was placed under the management of Henan Province, and was renamed Zhongyuan Institute of Technology in 2000.
The school is divided into three teaching areas: Longhu Campus, Zhongyuan Campus and West Campus, covering an area of 1, 6 10 mu. There are more than 24,000 full-time college students, undergraduates, graduate students and international students, and more than 2,200 part-time adult education students. The school has 20 teaching departments, including Textile College, Fashion College, Energy and Environment College, Electromechanical College, Electronic Information College and Art and Design College. Adhering to the goal of "promoting the construction of high-level universities with internationalization", the school actively serves the national "Belt and Road" construction, implements the strategy of opening up and running schools with life, and has successively carried out international cooperation and exchanges with 55 educational institutions in 24 countries and regions, including Russia, Italy, Thailand, Britain, Germany, the United States and Taiwan Province Province. Our school is one of the earliest universities in Henan to carry out Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.
