China's major intellectual property indicators met expectations, and the intellectual property cause progressed steadily.
The statistics of the first half of the year show three characteristics.
First, the ability to review intellectual property rights continued to improve. In the first half of the year, the number of patents, trademarks and layout-designs of integrated circuits increased rapidly year-on-year, reflecting that China's market players are more active in innovation and entrepreneurship, and it is also the result of deepening the reform of "simplifying administration and decentralization, strengthening supervision and improving services" in the field of intellectual property rights and improving the quality and efficiency of intellectual property rights review. The continuous improvement of examination ability is also reflected in the examination cycle of patents and trademarks. The average examination period of invention patents in China is reduced to 19.4 months, the examination period of high-value patents is reduced to 13.4 months, and the average examination period of trademark registration is stable within 4 months.
Second, the number of domestic enterprises with invention patents has increased steadily. There are 270,000 enterprises with effective invention patents in China, an increase of 24,000 over the end of last year. Among them, high-tech enterprises126,000, * * have effective invention patents1077,000, accounting for 62.3% of the total effective invention patents of domestic enterprises, and the technological innovation ability of enterprises has been continuously improved.
Third, the authorized registration of intellectual property rights of foreign applicants in China continues to grow. In the first half of the year, foreign applicants authorized 54,000 invention patents in China, a year-on-year increase of 30.0%; Foreign applicants registered 90,000 trademarks in China, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%. Among them, the invention patent authorization and trademark registration of American applicants in China increased by 35.0% and 8.9% respectively. This shows that foreign enterprises have confidence in China's state-owned business environment and are willing to carry out business activities and intellectual property distribution in China.
