Therefore, it is not suitable for planting in winter.
Eggplant is suitable for planting in early spring and early autumn. Generally, the suitable sowing period for spring eggplant is from late October to November, with a seedling period of 60 to 70 days. The suitable sowing period of Kandelia candel is June to July, and the seedling period is 25 to 30 days. For off-season cultivation in cool areas, it can be sown in March to April and transplanted in May. The amount of seed used per acre is 15 to 20 grams.
