Comrade Wang Zhihua used to be the deputy director and director of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering and the director of the Laboratory of Tumor Biotherapy of Harbin Medical University. For many years, he has devoted himself to the basic and applied research of anti-tumor immune cells, cytokines and gene therapy, and he and his research team have made outstanding achievements and contributions in this research field. Wang Zhihua research has proved that GM-CSF, IL-4 and IL- 12 transgenic cells not only have vaccine effect, but also have synergistic and therapeutic effects on tumors that have already occurred. The gene of * * * stimulatory molecule (B7- 1) was introduced into tumor cells, so that it could be effectively expressed. By binding to CD28 receptor of th cells, T cells are activated and produce immune response. Due to the introduction of B7- 1 gene, tumor cells can directly activate CD8+T cells by bypassing CD4+ cells, which may lead to the partial eradication of experimental tumors. In the aspect of activation and expansion of immune cells, the research strives to find a new method, which can not only increase the number and activity of effector cells, but also increase the safety and effectiveness of its clinical application. Comrade Wang Zhihua's research on IL-2, IL-4, IL- 12, IL-24, BAI 1, LAK cells, A-NK cells, TIL cells, DC cells, CIK cells, tumor vaccines, etc. He is one of the earliest researchers in China, with international advanced level, and some achievements have entered the clinical experimental treatment of tumors and achieved great success. Since 1986, he has participated in the Sixth Five-Year Plan, the Seventh Five-Year Plan, the Eighth Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan, presided over more than 10 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and Heilongjiang Province, and won awards from the state, the Ministry of Education and Heilongjiang Province as the main finisher. He has published more than 200 papers in Chinese and English at home and abroad, including the first author 100.
