Where was the telephone invented?

Bell invented the telephone on March 1th, 1876

In p>1892, the telephone line in Chicago, new york was opened. Bell, the inventor of the telephone, first auditioned: "Hello, Chicago", and this historic voice was recorded.

Today, people living in different places need to contact each other directly, and they don't have to send letters or go to each other's place in person. They can do it by telephone. Who is the communication tool of telephone and when was it invented? The inventor of the telephone is called Bell. He was originally Scottish and was born in 1847. He moved to the United States at the age of 24 and soon became an American citizen. In 1873, he was a professor of language physiology at Boston University. Once, he tried to send several messages at the same time through a telegraph line. His idea was supported by his wife Mabel Hubbard and his father-in-law. Mabel is deaf and used to be Bell's student. Her father, who is rich, generously provided the necessary financial support for his son-in-law's scientific experiments.

Many of Bell's friends want him to study telegraph. But the inventor didn't agree. The only thing on his mind is to finish the work of transmitting human voice. He first tried to make a "harmonious telegram"-a collection of two harps made up of charged reeds connected on a wire. Every reed has a counterpart with the same frequency at the other end of the wire. Bell hung two "harps" on a magnetic film. This film is a device that imitates the human ear.

One day, Thomas Watson, Bell's assistant, fiddled with the clamped reed, but Bell heard the plucking string sound from the adjacent room on the wire. He wrote down the facts, which led to further experiments. During the experiment, Bell encountered many difficulties. However, he is an open-minded and studious person, so when asking for advice from others, he has received guidance and help from some famous scientists, including famous physicists Helmholtz, Joseph Henry and Edison.

on March 1th, 1876, Bell shouted through the transmitter: "Mr. Watson, please come here! I have something to find you! "

Watson's assistant in the lab heard the call and jumped out of the lab like crazy and ran to the dormitory where Bell shouted. He shouted all the way: "I heard Bell calling me! I heard Bell calling me! " ......

In this way, human beings have the initial telephone and opened a brand-new page of communication history. In 1877, the first news telegram sent by telephone was sent to Boston's Le Monde, marking the adoption of telephone by the public. In 1878, Bell Telephone Company was formally established.
