Patent inventors or designers who have obtained patent authorization in recent 5 years and whose patent application address is within the jurisdiction of Guangzhou shall be graded according to the following standards:

Invention patents, each patent is calculated at 20/ (number of people+1), and if the inventor is the first inventor, an average score is added. The highest score is no more than 40 points.

For utility model patents, each patent is calculated as 10/ (No.+1), and if the inventor is the first inventor, an average score is added. The maximum is no more than 20 points.

For design patents, each patent is calculated at 5/ (No.+1), and if the designer is the first designer, an average score will be added. The maximum score shall not exceed 10.

2. Applicants who are engaged in professional and technical work in Guangzhou high-tech enterprises, new R&D institutions and other units will be given 2 points for each job 1 year, with a maximum score of 10.
