5. Assist primary and secondary schools to improve the effect of emergency evacuation drills.
All localities and schools should do an emergency evacuation drill every month and every quarter in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in accordance with the requirements of the Guide to Emergency Evacuation Drill for Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens, and ensure the safety and effectiveness of the drill. The China Education Association assists all localities in solving practical problems in the process of teachers and students in schools and improving the effect of emergency evacuation drills.

Create "1+8+N" organizational mechanism
Nantong Municipal People's Government, Jiangsu Province, has made great efforts to create an organizational mechanism of "1+8+N" to promote the government to lead and co-ordinate the creation of the first "National School Safety Education Demonstration Zone" in China. Nantong City School Safety Education Practice Demonstration Base was officially put into use, which reflected the professionalism, inspiration and popularization of safety education practice training.
Up to now, there are more than 1,000 primary and secondary schools (kindergartens)/KLOC-0, nearly 20,000 classes, 20,000 teachers, and nearly 780,000 students and their parents in Nantong. Through the "Nantong School Safety Education Platform" system, safety education has achieved full coverage of students, classes, schools and families. The main responsibility of school and teachers' safety education has been fully implemented, the normalization, scientificity and informatization level of safety education, special activities, emergency drills and safety reminders have been continuously improved, and the independent safety awareness and basic safety skills of teachers, students and parents have been further enhanced.
