Chinese name: Homopolymer of vinyl fluoride; polyfluoroethylene resin
English name: Ethene, fluoro-, homopolymer; PVF; Polyvinyl fluoride resin; fluoro-ethen homopolymer; Ethene, fluoro-, homopolymer.
PVF film, also known as polyvinyl fluoride film (polyvinyl fluoride), referred to as PVF. and thermoplastic resins. Odorless, non-toxic white powder. Density 1.38. Decomposes above 240℃. It has a crystal structure, high transparency (can transmit ultraviolet light), high electrical insulation properties, high toughness, excellent chemical resistance, anti-aging and corrosion resistance. And can withstand -73~121℃. It is extruded from polymers of fluorine and fluorocarbon molecules. It is a polymer containing fluorine or fluorocarbon and has greater chemical binding force and structural stability than any polymer. The resistance and durability of PVF films to sunlight, chemical solvents, acid and alkali corrosion, moisture and oxidation are significantly improved. The film produced can be used as agricultural film, protective film for materials, packaging grease and corrosive substances, and can also be used as electrical insulation material.
During the production and processing process, the PVF film stretches transversely and longitudinally to form a molecular lattice, which greatly improves its physical properties. The PVF film's resistance to wear, moisture penetration and ductility can thus be doubled.
PVF film does not contain plasticizers, has long-lasting and stable color, is resistant to bleaching agents, and prevents chalking and fungal growth. Its surface has strong repulsive force, which can prevent dust staining and is easy to clean and maintain. Moreover, even the strongest detergents will not damage the PVF membrane.
From minus 70 degrees to 110 degrees, PVF film can ensure excellent performance, and the instantaneous temperature peak up to 200 degrees will not cause damage to it. In addition, PVF film does not contain plasticizers, so it has excellent anti-aging properties and maintains toughness and flexibility over a wide temperature range. Relevant testing institutions have conducted outdoor weathering tests on PVF films for more than 20 years.
Main brands of PVF film: Baiqiang, DuPont, Guanghui, BENCH, and Growing.
