In recent years, Highway Research Institute of Ministry of Communications has made a lot of new progress in modified asphalt technology by strengthening the interdisciplinary research of related disciplines, especially the integration of polymer materials and new technologies in petrochemical field, and the technical requirements for road performance of modified asphalt. The series of modified products developed based on this achievement are the direct embodiment of these achievements. In the new era of large-scale application of modified asphalt in China, these high-tech and products provide new impetus and source for the vigorous development and technological breakthrough of road modified asphalt in China.
Among them, in order to promote the popularization and application of drainage asphalt pavement in China, Highway Research Institute of Ministry of Communications has developed a high-viscosity additive (HVA) suitable for drainage asphalt mixture, developed a finished high-viscosity modified asphalt based on a stable storage system, and applied for a national invention patent, laying a solid foundation for the localization of high-viscosity asphalt brands.
