Note:
Prepare the tools first.
1. Stop, power off, and brake. Stop the donkey's head slightly above the bottom dead center.
The common mistakes new workers make are running out of power and weak brakes.
2. Close the polished rod sealer (rubber gate). Close both sides at the same time.
Note: If the oil well is not equipped with a polished rod sealer, you must first determine whether the oil well is spontaneously blowing out. If there is blowout potential, depending on the pressure conditions, it will be decided whether to take cyclic well killing measures.
Oil wells without polished rod sealers must close the production gate and vent.
3. Slowly disassemble the packing box and hang it on the rope suspension. Be slow when disassembling.
Pay attention to whether the polished rod sealer is effective. If serious oil or air leakage is found after disassembly, it may be that the sealer has failed. Stop disassembly immediately and tighten it. and take other measures.
Check whether the packing box is firmly fixed. Due to poor fixation, there have been incidents where packing boxes fell and workers' fingers were injured.
4. Take out the old packing and add new packing.
Be sure to remove the old packing cleanly. When using a screwdriver to take it out, be careful not to use too much force and cause it to become hollow or hurt your face.
The new packing should be made with an incision of about 45 degrees. When adding packing, it should be staggered and compacted at a certain angle, the quantity should be added, and an appropriate amount of butter should be applied.
5. Untie the fixed rope and tighten the packing box. Be careful not to tighten it too tightly.
6. Switch to the production process and check carefully.
7. After checking and confirming that everything is correct, power on, release the brake, and start the pumping unit.
8. Pack up tools and record information.
