1. The patent registration fee, announcement printing fee, specification change fee (change of entrustment relationship between patent agency and agent) and transfer fee in PCT (patent cooperation treaty) patent application fee (international part) are suspended. The above fees shall be paid in accordance with the current regulations before the expiration date of July 3 1 and 20 18 (inclusive).
2. For patent applicants or patentees who meet the relevant conditions in the Measures for Reduction and Payment of Patent Fees (Cai Shui [2016] No.78), the annual reduction and payment period of patent fees shall be extended from 6 years in the year of authorization to 10 years. For patents that have been authorized to reduce fees before July 3, 20 18, the following treatment shall be made: within 6 years from the year of authorization, the annual fee reduction period shall be extended to 10; If it is authorized for 7-9 years from the current year, the annual fee will continue to be reduced from the following year until 10 year; The annual fee will not be reduced if it exceeds 10 years and 10 years from the authorized year.
3. An application for a patent for invention that has entered the stage of substantive examination may request a refund of 50% of the fee for substantive examination of the patent application before the expiration of the reply period of the first notice of examination opinions (except those that have been submitted).
