He is currently the deputy dean, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Information Science and Technology of Xiamen University, and a part-time professor of the School of Communications of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Obtained a PhD in Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Circuits and Systems in June 2001. In November 2002, he went to the Department of Communication Engineering of Xiamen University as an imported talent from the School of Communication and Information Engineering of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications as a professor. In 2004, he was confirmed as a key talent in Xiamen City. In 2005, he was funded by the first New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education. His main research field is algorithm design and implementation of advanced digital communication systems. In recent years, he has presided over the completion of 5 projects including the National 863 Project, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Key Science and Technology Development Plan Project of the Ministry of Information Industry, and international cooperation projects.
