Guangxi Vocational and Technical College (Guangxi calls &; Technical college is a full-time ordinary college approved by the Ministry of Education.
It is the first batch of public higher vocational colleges in Guangxi, the national high-quality vocational colleges, the high-level professional group construction unit of "China Characteristic High-level Vocational Colleges and Professional Construction Plan", the outstanding unit of the national model backbone vocational colleges, the unit of the production-education integration project of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Education, and the first batch of 100 pilot units of modern apprenticeship in higher vocational colleges in China.
Guangxi Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as Guangxi University of Labor, was founded in 1965. It has gone through the historical stages of Thermal Engineering Branch of Guangxi Agricultural College (undergraduate, 1977), Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Workers College (1982), Guangxi Agriculture, Industry and Commerce Vocational College (1996) and so on. 1998 was approved by the Ministry of Education and became the first batch of public higher vocational colleges in Guangxi-Guangxi Vocational and Technical College.
By the end of 2002 1 and1,Guangxi Vocational and Technical College had a high-value processing center for agricultural products, which solved more than 60 key technology and process innovation problems in regional industrial development.
Completed provincial and ministerial information technology service projects such as the agricultural product quality traceability system of the Ministry of Agriculture and the agricultural information service system of Guangxi Sugar Factory, which were popularized and applied in more than 40 enterprises, achieving enterprise efficiency increase of nearly 100 million yuan.
