''White Strawberry'', also called ''Little White Strawberry'', is a new strawberry variety bred by farmer Li Jian in Miyun County, Beijing, through tissue culture seedling mutant strains, August 2014 It has been identified by the Beijing Seed Management Station and is the first white strawberry variety independently cultivated by Chinese people. It has now applied for a patent from the Ministry of Agriculture. The fruit is white or light pink in the early stage from December to March. After April, as the temperature rises and the light becomes stronger, it will turn pink, and the pulp will be pure white or light yellow. The taste is sweet and melts in the mouth. The peel is thin and the flesh is light yellow when fully mature. It tastes like yellow peach. The soluble solids (sugar content) is above 14. This variety shows vigorous growth, large fruit, high quality, and good yield. It has strong resistance to powdery mildew and is an ideal fresh-eating variety.
