FYD-type split tower fully hydraulic power head drilling rig

The FYD-2200 split tower fully hydraulic power head drilling rig was jointly developed by the 313 Geological Team of the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Geology and Minerals and China Geological Equipment Corporation ***. This drilling rig integrates the advantages of domestic and foreign fully hydraulic power head drilling rigs and vertical shaft drilling rigs. The drilling rig adopts a split tower structure design, which changes the disadvantages of vehicle-mounted and mast-type structures in deep drilling. It is suitable for mountainous areas, hills, and roads. Construction in poor areas; the drilling rig adopts stepless speed change, with a wide speed range and easy operation; the drilling rig adopts a long stroke (4.8m) design, which reduces the auxiliary time; the drilling rig power head chuck adopts both slip clamping and top drive types. The structure is used to avoid the problems of pressurization of shallow and deep drilling tools and the holding capacity of the suspension chuck that exist in a single structure; the drilling rig operating system realizes the digitization of working parameters, the visualization of operations on and off the tower, and the remote monitoring of the drilling site network. It facilitates on-site safe operation and remote decision-making and command by managers; the drilling rig has a high degree of automation, safe operation, good operating environment, and low labor intensity.

(1) Main structure of the drilling rig

The FYD-2200 split tower fully hydraulic power head drilling rig is composed of four independent components: the main engine, the power station, the drilling tower and the mud pump. The appearance and structural layout of the drilling rig are shown in Figure 2-6.

1. Main machine

The main machine of the drilling rig consists of a holder, a power head, a chuck, and a power head carriage , mast, mast upper section, mast bracket, bottom slide frame, bottom frame assembly, main winch, hydraulic system, operating console and other components. The main part of the drilling rig is shown in Figure 2-7.

2. Power station

The structure of the power station is shown in Figure 2-8. Its function is to provide a hydraulic power source for the main engine. It is connected to the main engine with a quick-change joint. The power station is mainly composed of power station frame 1, electric control cabinet 2, oil temperature radiator 3, oil pump motor unit 4, oil tank 5, main pump 6, coupling 7, and main motor 8.

3. Operation console and on-site studio

The drilling rig operating system realizes the functions of speed, pressure, Parameters such as torque, pump pressure, flow rate, etc. are digitally displayed. At the same time, the tower operation and on-site working status are videoized, and the site is equipped with a remote network transmission system. The operating platform and on-site studio are shown in Figure 2-9.

4. Drilling tower

The SG-24A four-corner drilling tower is used, with a bearing capacity of 550kN.

5. Mud pump

The mud pump is equipped with BW300/12 type and is driven by a split motor.

6. Rope coring winch

The rope coring winch is driven by a split motor and has a salvage capacity of up to 3000m in hole depth.

7. Drill pipe unscrewing system

Equipped with SQ114/8 hydraulic power tongs.

(3) Drilling rig application examples

The FYD-2200 split tower fully hydraulic power head drilling rig was used in the deep prospecting ZK1725 hole in Huoqiuzhouji, Anhui Province, and completed the hole A drill hole with a depth of 2706.68m and a final hole diameter of Ф77mm. In addition, the NLSD-1 hole was scientifically drilled in Nanling, Yudu, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, and a hole depth of 2967.83m and a final hole diameter of 97mm was completed. Use has shown that this drilling rig has the following performance characteristics:

1) The drilling rig structure adopts a split module design with a reasonable layout. The entire drilling rig is divided into four independent components: the main engine, the power station, the drilling tower and the mud pump, making it easy to disassemble, assemble, relocate and transport.

2) Using a heavy-duty 24m square pipe drilling rig, it can lift 18m vertical roots. Compared with the mast-type drilling rig which can only lift 9m or 6m vertical roots, the tripping time can be saved by 1/2 to 2/3.

3) The feeding distance of the drilling rig is up to 4.8m, which is suitable for use with 4.5m length rope coring drill pipe and ordinary drill pipe, which can save drilling time. Compared with the vertical axis drilling rig, the drilling time is the same as that of the vertical axis drilling rig, and the rod inversion time is 1/5 to 1/7 of the vertical axis drilling rig.

4) The power head of the drilling rig can move the orifice longitudinally and transversely, and the orifice is relatively wide, which is convenient for drilling and coring operations.

5) The power head has a wide rotation speed regulation range. The combination of mechanical shifting and hydraulic speed regulation can achieve stepless speed change from 0 to 1200r/min and precise control of the power head speed.

6) The power head clamping system realizes dual use of chuck and top drive, which solves the problem of insufficient chuck clamping force and slippage during pressurized shallow hole drilling and depressurized deep hole drilling. problem.

7) A mast can be added to the upper part of the drilling rig slideway to achieve dual use with or without a tower, and with both straight and inclined holes.

8) The main drilling parameters are automatically collected and displayed on the operating platform. The video image display of key operating parts on the upper and lower towers allows the operation team leader to understand the operating status of the entire machine at a glance, enhancing the machine's The safety of desk operation. At the same time, remote network transmission is realized to facilitate managers' remote decision-making and command.

9) Equipped with hydraulic power tongs to unscrew the drill pipe, which reduces the labor intensity of workers, reduces damage to the drill pipe, and saves about 1/3 of the drilling time.

10) Drilling rigs, water pumps, rope coring winches and other equipment are driven separately from the power station, which can save more than 20% of energy consumption in deep hole drilling.
