With the end of the 20-year protection period of Paice hybrid patented technology, many well-prepared car companies have come up with their own systems, which has led to the concentrated outbreak of China brand hybrid technology. For this reason, we planned this cross-sectional evaluation of domestic hybrid cars, gathered the representative models of various brands together, and made data measurement and comprehensive evaluation on the hybrid systems of these six brands through five aspects: actual pure endurance test, power loss fuel consumption test (urban route+high-speed route), zero-speed acceleration test (high power+power loss), noise test and vibration test, so as to see what China brands have at present. Fuck? Do better?
Model introduction
It should be noted that BYD's fourth-generation DM hybrid technology series consists of fuel-efficient DM-i system and main performance DM-P. It is obviously more interesting for Tang DM-P to participate in this cross-evaluation. Its powerful performance and long battery life can be directly in line with DHT-, but it is a pity that Tang DM-p was not officially released when we made this cross-evaluation, so it would be a pity to miss it.
Except for Chuanqi GS8, which uses 2.0T engine, all the other five cars use 1.5T engine, which makes GS8 the player with the highest displacement in the whole competition. In addition, GAC Chuanqi has just released a self-developed GMC 2.0 hybrid system, which uses a 2.0L self-priming engine and is mounted on a brand-new SUV. Unfortunately, I didn't catch up with this review like Tang DM-P.

Special topic of China brand mixed cross evaluation
Tiggo 8 PLUS and Xingyue L Raytheon also use 3-speed DHT transmission, but different from Xingyue L, their two driving motors have three gears, which realize nine working modes, such as single/double motor drive, series range extension, parallel drive, direct engine drive, single/double motor kinetic energy recovery, driving/parking charging, and 1 combination gear.
From the technical structure, Chery's system is not bad, but the matching and adjustment between hardware is not perfect, the fuel economy is not ideal, and the sense of frustration is strong.
The hybrid structure of Changan UNI-K iDD and Chuanqi GS8 is quite different from the other four models. Let's talk about it separately.
Although the P2 structure of iDD only needs to add a motor and a big battery, it can quickly and cheaply change oil into mixed gas, but the fatal defect of a single motor is that it can't generate and drive at the same time as several other dual-motor players, so power loss and high fuel consumption are innate genes. I have to say that the field of plug-in hybrid is getting more and more rolled up. According to the policy, if the pure cruising range reaches 50 kilometers, you can get a green card and be exempt from purchase tax. The official pure cruising range of the four plug-in and hybrid models has reached 100 km or more. The just released Tang DM-p is the king of volume, and the four-wheel drive version has a battery life of 2 15 km.
Chuanqi GS8 and Xingyue L belong to non-plug-in hybrid vehicles and do not have long-distance pure electric drive capability. Both of them missed this link.
Four-car conditions are set uniformly, and the driving mode is comfortable or standard, that is, neutral gear, air conditioning is unified to 22 degrees, two windproof and internal circulation. The most important thing is to adjust the SOC value to the lowest, so as to avoid the engine from intervening in advance in order to maintain the corresponding power.
We conducted the test at Zhonghuan Road in Guangzhou University Town, which happened to be 10 km. There will be many social vehicles and light-controlled intersections in this ring road, stop and go. You can turn off the electricity when you walk, but you can't stop for a cigarette, which is very close to the daily car scene.
It should be noted in particular that although the engine of Tang DM-i intervened with the remaining 25% power available, the actual pure battery life was 102km, but in fact this achievement was somewhat modest. At this time, you can press and hold the EV key to enter the pure battery mode again and continue driving until the remaining 65,438+05%. If this part is included, Tang DM-i can also achieve a nominal endurance of nearly 100%. BYD has proved to the world and rivals that its iron aluminum phosphate blade battery is technically sharp.
On the other hand, can I use the plug-in tram for my daily commute? Of course, driving a tram on weekdays is especially economical, and there is no mileage anxiety when traveling on holidays! It's just that if you have a long commute distance, you'd better choose a model with long battery life, which can avoid the pain of frequent charging, save money and save trouble.
4 Power loss and fuel consumption test The second link of energy consumption test is to test the power loss and fuel consumption of six vehicles.
The purpose of the fuel consumption test is to show you that the plug-in hybrid car has no electricity. Is the fuel consumption high? How high and how low is it compared with unplugged models? For those consumers who have no charging conditions and want to buy a plug-in hybrid car to drive, see if the result will change your car purchase plan.
We tested the power loss and fuel consumption in two situations: city and high speed. Before the official departure, we also set uniform conditions for all vehicles. Air conditioning 22 degrees, 2 windproof, internal circulation, standard driving mode. At this time, the power of six vehicles is too low to start the pure electric mode, and the HEV hybrid mode is maintained throughout the test.
The urban route ran 120.3 km, and once again, all the cars were added to the oil port and overflowed slightly. After statistics, the test results of insufficient power and fuel consumption of urban road conditions are shown in the following table.
The lowest measured fuel consumption in the city is Xingyue L, which is only 5.62 liters/100 kilometers; The highest is Tiggo 8 plus Kunpeng e+, 9.85 liters/100 kilometers, with a difference of more than 4 liters. The four-wheel drive mocha with the strongest power and the heaviest tonnage is not at the bottom, ranking fifth with 8.97 liters, followed by Chuanqi GS8, BYD Tang DM-i and Changan UNI-K IDD.
Seeing this, I don't know if you have found that two hybrid models that can't be plugged in are the most fuel-efficient. Generally speaking, hybrid vehicles are more fuel efficient than fuel vehicles when driving in cities. Even if there are hundreds of kilograms of batteries as a burden, only a little guaranteed power is enough for the motor to play an auxiliary starting role, which is of great significance to fuel saving.
Then, after filling up the oil, immediately carry out high-speed fuel consumption test. The vehicle setting is the same as the city route, and the high-speed test route is 1 15.3km, in which the toll road section reaches 100km or more.
The total length of the expressway is 1 15.3 km, and once again, the gas filling ports of all vehicles overflow slightly. After statistics, the test results of fuel consumption caused by insufficient power under high-speed road conditions are shown in the following table.
The two non-plug-in models, Xingyue L Raytheon and Chuanqi GS8, are still the best, but the gap between them has reached as much as1.32l. Considering that Chuanqi GS8 has one more cylinder than Xingyue L, with a displacement of 0.5L and a weight of 260kg, it is reasonable to drink 1L of oil, and it is not greedy.
The second echelon is Don DM-i and Mocha. The competition between the two directly reached two decimal places, and Mocha won the Tang DM-i with a slight advantage of 0.06 liter. Kunpeng e+, which was originally at the bottom of the city's fuel consumption, lost to the fifth Changan uni -k iDD with a slight gap of 0. 19 liters in the high-speed test, and came to the bottom again.
Among them, Geely Xingyue L and Chang 'an UNI-K expressways consume more fuel than cities, but the difference is not far. The speed of the other four cars is lower than that of the city, but the most one is only 1.5 liter lower. In other words, the fuel consumption difference between these hybrid cars, high-speed cars and cities is not as big as that of fuel cars.
Although the fuel consumption of plug-in hybrid vehicles is not as low as that of non-plug-in hybrid vehicles because of the battery burden, even the four-wheel drive version is much more fuel-efficient than the fuel vehicles of the same level. Therefore, you can save money without charging.
Finally, it should be noted that due to various objective factors, the fuel consumption test can not completely avoid errors. The fuel consumption data of our two rounds of tests are only based on the routes and road conditions we tested, and the results are for reference only.
5 acceleration performance test returns to the top acceleration performance test. For these hybrid models with electric drive blessing, consumers will not only care about their fuel consumption, but also their power performance. Will acceleration collapse under power loss? We tested the zero acceleration time of six cars at high and low power, respectively, to see if it was? Not enough electricity? Will the dynamic performance be better than that? Is there enough electricity? A lot of errands!
As can be seen from the power parameter table, except mocha power? Beyond the rules? In addition, the torques of Tang DM-i, Changan UNI-K iDD, Tiggo 8 plus Kunpeng e+ and Geely Xingyue L's 1.5T engines and their driving motors are very close. Only Chuanqi GS8 uses a 2.0T engine, the output is obviously stronger than other 1.5T, but at the same time the motor torque is smaller than others. In addition, there is no small difference in body weight between cars. So based on this data performance, what is the actual acceleration performance of each car?
We use ESP off, air conditioning off, sports mode +HEV mode on to test. In short, we use the most powerful model. During the high-power test, the power of the four plug-in and hybrid models are all above 80%, and Chuanqi GS8 instrument shows that the power is close to full load. During the power loss test, the battery capacity of the four-car plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is in the lowest SOC value, and the battery capacity of Chuanqi GS8 instrument is in the lowest double-grid state.
Geely Xingyue L is special, and there is no electricity displayed on the instrument. We judge the low power by running the air conditioner until the engine starts itself, and when the engine is turned off again, the power is in a relatively sufficient state in theory. Of course, this method may not be rigorous, but in fact, the purpose of not displaying the power of the moon and the moon is to let users not care about the power level, because the manufacturer has set the power protection value to ensure that the hybrid system can run all day.
During the test, 10,000 words were omitted, and the data was directly entered.
When the power is high, the four-wheel drive Mocha accelerates to 4.95 seconds, which is very close to the official 4.8 seconds. The fastest measured speed of other two-wheel drive vehicles is Tiggo 8 PLUS. Although there was an obvious power interruption due to gear shifting during the acceleration process, the initial acceleration was still very powerful. The final measured score of breaking 100 seconds was 7.58 seconds, which was not much different from the official score of 7 seconds.
The acceleration results of the other four cars are basically close to the official results under the condition of high power, and the gap is about half a second. Only Changan UNI -K iDD, the measured result is 0.4 seconds faster than the official result.
However, the acceleration performance of these four cars is basically the same as that of high power, and the difference is about 0. 1 second, which is basically negligible. Changan UNI-K and Tang DM-i even have cases where the acceleration of high battery power is a few seconds slower than that of low battery power. It can be seen that the battery level has no direct influence on the zero-acceleration performance of these cars.
In fact, these hybrid vehicles will have the guaranteed power value at the factory. Even if the power consumption of pure electric drive is too high, the hybrid system can still run. In addition, our current six cars all adopt parallel drive mode. When the engine is at full throttle, it will directly participate in the wheel drive and work with the motor, so the acceleration performance of power loss will not be much worse than that of high power.
Among the six models, there are five models of 200,000-class vehicles, all of which are two-wheel drive. At the same time, the power is very average, 8 seconds. This kind of power level and two-wheel drive form can only be said to be barely enough for these SUVs that often need to travel with full load. But considering that their fuel consumption is only half or even lower than that of their respective fuel versions, and some of them can give you a green card, your heart will be much more balanced.
But if the budget is enough, please go directly to the four-wheel drive! Why? Combined with our fuel consumption test and acceleration test results, the power of dual-motor four-wheel drive is much stronger than that of two-wheel drive, and the acceleration performance is greatly improved, but the energy consumption is not much higher. Therefore, it is worthwhile to choose four-wheel drive for those models that offer four-wheel drive versions above the price of 200,000 yuan. Among the six cars, Mocha and GS8 have four-wheel drive versions, and the four-wheel drive version of Tang DM-p will be listed soon.
6 Noise/Vibration Test Return to the top noise test. I've seen energy consumption data and performance. Let's take a look at their NVH performance.
We tested the interior noise values under four working conditions.
Stop+turn off the engine, and see if the sound insulation works are done well when the vehicle is stationary.
Stop+idle to see if there is noise in the engine after intervention.
60-speed+pure electric mode, see how the wind noise and tire noise are isolated after driving.
60 rpm+floor oil, see the noise level when the engine is running at full load in daily driving.
Among the four tests, the noise value of Xingyue L is the lowest, and the other five cars have different performances. Tiggo 8 PLUS and Changan UNI-K have weak isolation ability to the ambient noise outside the vehicle when stopping and turning off the engine. GS8' s engine is most excited when it is idling in place.
After driving, the quietness of Changan UNI -K in pure electric mode still has a lot of room for improvement, and the engine sound of Tiggo 8 PLUS is the loudest when the local plate oil is completely exported.
It can be found that the stars with the best sound insulation performance are available in various configurations. So as long as we are willing to spend money on sound insulation, the effect is immediate, and the sound insulation performance is directly related to the luxury of the configuration.
The vibration test affects the NVH performance of hybrid electric vehicles, and there is also an important index, that is, what kind of vibration performance can be felt in the vehicle when the engine is involved?
It should be noted that even on such a flat hangar ground, the vibration value of the vehicle is still far beyond the idle state, with a large fluctuation range, and tires and suspension will also affect the test results. So we test under static conditions, and the results are more accurate and comparable.
The measured data are shown in the table above. On the steering wheel amplitude, the results of the six cars are divided into three echelons, and Xingyue L and Chuanqi GS8 are the best, both of which are 0.025mm and tied; Changan UNI-K and Mocha of the second echelon also scored the same. The third echelon is Tang DM-i and Tiggo 8 PLUS, and the results are very close.
In terms of the amplitude of the center console, Xingyue L and Chuanqi GS8 are still the best two for vibration control, below 0.02mm ... The other four models are above 0.02, from low to high, they are Tang DM-i, Mocha, Tiggo 8 plus and Changan UNI-K.
From the overall data, we also found some interesting laws. For example, the vibration amplitude of the steering wheel is generally greater than that of the center console; The vibration values of two non-mixed units are lighter than those of four mixed units; And the more expensive the car, the lower the vibration value is not necessarily. But then again, even if the highest value in the table is 0.040mm, the actual vibration amplitude is very, very slight.
Total? Besides witnessing this wonderful race, I have to admire the efforts and progress of China car companies. The six cars randomly selected this time all have the performance comparable to or even better than that of the Japanese Second Field. The stronger lethality lies in its kind price, which makes ordinary consumers at your fingertips.
However, we need to be soberly aware that today's domestic mixed arena is actually built under the shade of two big trees, which are painstakingly managed by two mixed masters, Toyota and Honda.
