Are the requests and claims of patent technology disclosure and patent application the same?

Patent technology disclosure, patent application request and patent claim are three different documents, and their contents and functions are different.

1. Patent Technology Disclosure: This is a detailed technical data file submitted by the applicant to the Patent Office, including a detailed description of the invention, drawings and specific implementation methods. Its purpose is to provide enough information for the patent office, so that the patent office can accurately evaluate whether the invention meets the conditions for patent grant and finally grant the patent right.

2. Request for Patent Application: This is a formal application document submitted by the applicant to the Patent Office, including a brief description of the invention, drawings and claims. The function of the request is to start the patent application procedure and submit the relevant technical data to the Patent Office for examination.

3. Claim: This is an important document for the applicant to apply for a patent right in the Patent Office. It describes the main technical features of the invention and determines the protection scope of the patent right. The patent claim is written according to the technical disclosure, but its content and emphasis are different from the technical disclosure, and more emphasis is placed on determining the scope and boundary of patent protection.
