What does PLA mean?

PLA, programmable logic array, is a kind of programmable logic device. It is a large-scale integrated circuit, programmable, or array, and contains storage elements. It can realize combinational circuits and sequential circuits with arbitrary logic functions. PLA has the characteristics of regular structure and flexible use, and is widely used in digital system and VLSI chip design.

Types of failure of the PLA

Generally, the following faults are considered in the fault detection of PLA:

(1) Lost Crosspoint Fault: In the manufacturing process of PLA or the user programming process, it is possible that the programming tubes that should be connected are not connected correctly, and the programming tubes that should not be connected are connected incorrectly, which will cause PLA logic confusion.

(2) Redundant cross-point fault: After PLA is used for a period of time, some programming tubes are likely to be damaged, thus causing PLA logic confusion.

(3) Fixed failure;

(4) Bridge failure of adjacent lines.

The test set used to detect cross faults can cover fixed faults and adjacent line bridging faults.

What does PLA stand for in other fields?

1, PLA (PLA for short)

Polylactic acid (PLA) is a new bio-based renewable biodegradable material, which is made of starch from renewable plant resources (such as corn and cassava). Starch raw materials are saccharified to obtain glucose, then glucose and some strains are fermented to produce high-purity lactic acid, and then polylactic acid with a certain molecular weight is synthesized by chemical synthesis.
