What does apmp pulping mean?

Alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulp (APMP) is developed on the basis of BCTMP. After nearly 20 years of research by American companies and research institutions, this new type of chemical mechanical pulp (APMP), namely alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulp, was introduced at the international mechanical pulp conference held in Hulky, Finland from 65438 to 0989. In 1997, J. Tyrvainen and others put forward the pulping technology of PRCAPMP, aiming at improving the chemical and mechanical treatment effects and improving the optical properties of pulp. At present, many countries in the world (including China) have adopted this pulping technology, and its application prospect is very optimistic.

At present, APMP pulping technology of non-wood fiber raw materials such as eucalyptus, spruce, poplar, pine and kenaf is relatively mature in the world. Andritz, a multinational company, not only sells APMP pulping equipment, but also leads the world in APMP pulping research of various materials. The R&D center in Springfield, USA, has also done a lot of work in this respect, and conducted a pilot test for users who bought equipment, providing a reliable technical basis for imported production lines. Hymac in Canada, as another APMP equipment sales company, also has its own R&D center to do the same research. Poplar APMP pulping process was developed and patented by Scott Paper Group. Since 1988, MillarWestern market Pulp Mill in Alberta has been using this process for production.

Domestic universities, research institutes and many other scientific research units have conducted extensive and in-depth research on APMP pulping. China Pulp and Paper Research Institute undertakes the research on APMP pulping technology of eucalyptus (mainly eucalyptus globulus) and the preparation of high value-added paper (such as LWC base paper and SC paper); The State Key Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Engineering of South China University of Technology discussed the technological conditions of preparing APMP pulp by mixing hardwood (oak 55%, Fraxinus mandshurica 30%, birch 15%). Nanjing Forestry University used acacia wood as raw material for APMP pulping. The whiteness of pulp is 80%, the yield is ≥ 85%, and the quality is between APMP eucalyptus and BCTMP poplar. Shaanxi University of Science and Technology studied the preparation of APMP from non-wood raw materials. APMP pulp is made of wheat straw and kenaf. Its strength performance is similar to that of poplar APMP pulp, but its whiteness is low, especially wheat straw APMP, which limits its application.

In recent years, many APMP production lines have been introduced by qualified units and regions in China, such as Yalu River Paper Mill, Yueyang Paper Co., Ltd. and Qiqihar Paper Co., Ltd., which have been put into production. The introduction of APMP system can not only make use of a large number of cheap hardwood resources rarely used by local industries, but also provide a good development space for developing wood pulp papermaking and alleviating the pressure of shortage of wood fiber raw materials. The research on APMP pulping and the application of APMP pulping production line show that APMP pulping technology is quite mature. Its wide application will certainly alleviate the passive situation that China's pulp and paper industry is facing the lack of paper fiber raw materials. At present, the government of China is determined to spend 10 years, focusing on five key forestry construction projects, such as the construction of fast-growing and high-yield timber forest bases, and implementing ten ecological construction projects, such as afforestation projects in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, providing sufficient raw materials for the wide adoption of APMP pulping technology.

At the same time, domestic large-scale research and production bases of pulping and papermaking equipment are also actively cooperating to develop alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulp (APMP) production line. For example, Zhangjiagang Huahang Pulping Equipment Co., Ltd. has completely mastered the APMP technology and developed an alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulp (APMP) production line system, which has been proved to have good performance by users. Alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulp has the advantages of strong adaptability of raw materials, high yield, high strength, wide application range of products, low investment cost, low energy consumption, little pollution and easy treatment. APMP products can be used to manufacture high whiteness offset newsprint, lightweight coated paper, super calendered paper, offset writing paper and so on.

Now, China Airlines has made great breakthroughs in technology and route optimization through technical research and innovation in the past two years. We will spare no effort to provide users with first-class design, first-class products and first-class services, make unremitting efforts for the early localization and wide application of APMP technology in papermaking, and take a solid step for the technological innovation and production development of domestic papermaking enterprises.
