Discipline evaluation is a non-administrative and service-oriented evaluation project carried out by the degree center in a third-party manner. It was first carried out in 2002 and has completed four rounds as of 2017.
Main measures for subject evaluation:
1. Strengthen the central position of talent training, such as strengthening the quality evaluation of students that combines the quality of study and graduation quality: the quality of study highlights the "moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic qualities of students" "Labor" all-round representative achievements, focusing on student participation and contribution; graduation quality adheres to the combination of overall employment quality and career development quality, focusing on employer evaluation.
2. Resolutely eliminate the "five only" stubborn problems. For example, teachers should not only be evaluated based on their academic qualifications and professional titles, nor should they set talent "hat" indicators, and avoid the practice of one-sided evaluation of academic level based on academic titles. Evaluating the level of scientific research is not limited to papers and awards, but also sets indicators such as "representative academic works", "patent transformation" and "new drug research and development" to conduct multi-dimensional evaluation of scientific research effectiveness.
