Born in June, 1942, 1 1, Jimo, Shandong, an expert in chemical separation, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, a professor, a researcher at Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology R&D Center and a doctoral supervisor. Graduated from the Chemistry Department of Shandong Ocean University in July,1965; 1August 1965 to1February 1970, worked in the State Oceanic Administration; 1March 1970 to1March 1982, worked in the second research institute of the State Oceanic Administration; During this period, he participated in the 1967 national seawater desalination campaign; February1982-March 1984 went to the University of Waterloo in Canada for further study; From June 65438 to April 0984, he worked in Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology R&D Center of State Oceanic Administration; 199 1 year researcher, once served as chief engineer, deputy director and director of science and technology commission of water treatment research and development center; 1998 Up to now, he is an academician, professor and doctoral supervisor of China Ocean University, and concurrently serves as the director of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of Membrane and Water Treatment Technology. 1993 was awarded the title of young and middle-aged expert with outstanding national contributions, and 1995 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering. From 20 13 till now, he is a full-time academician of Zhejiang University of Technology and dean of College of Oceanography of Zhejiang University of Technology, engaged in the research and development of functional membranes and engineering technology. In the research and development of membrane separation, he has participated in, organized, undertaken and completed more than ten key projects of the State, Zhejiang Province and the State Oceanic Administration, including four special projects of asymmetry, composite membrane and module development in the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan of the State and Zhejiang Province, two projects of CTA hollow fiber membrane development, key materials and film-forming mechanism of composite membrane funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and one project of charged membrane and its performance research funded by returned overseas students. 1984 presided over the national key science and technology project "Research on Reverse Osmosis Membrane and Assembler for Desalination of Moderate Salinity Bitter Water", 1992 merged with other three projects into the project "National Reverse Osmosis Membrane Device and Engineering Technology Development"; Undertaking the project "charged membrane and its performance research" funded by the national returned overseas students for scientific and technological activities; In 2002, the key project of National Natural Science Foundation, the soft project of seawater desalination of Ministry of Science and Technology and two scientific research projects of Zhejiang Province were completed. Undertaking projects such as National 973,863 and National Natural Science Foundation, combining membrane separation with preferential adsorption and transfer promotion, membrane with biochemistry and catalysis, membrane with water resources and environment, membrane with clean production and green chemistry. CTA hollow fiber reverse osmosis membrane and module have been successfully researched and industrialized, with remarkable benefits. Several new membrane varieties with different pore sizes and hydrophilicity, such as aromatic polyamide composite reverse osmosis membrane, charged membrane and multi-element alloy membrane, have been successfully developed and popularized. He presided over the research of the National Natural Science Foundation on the synthesis of TMC and the role of polyamines in composite membranes, which promoted the development of new monomers and new functions of functional membranes in China. The research and development of nanofiltration was first carried out in China, and several nanofiltration membranes were developed and successfully applied to some new industrial processes. "Domestic reverse osmosis device and engineering technology development" won the first prize of national scientific and technological progress 1992. In addition, it has won more than ten first, second and third prizes for scientific and technological progress at the provincial and ministerial levels. He published nearly 200 papers and conference reports, translated professional books and periodicals 1 species, and edited 4 kinds of professional books and periodicals, of which 2 kinds were editors-in-chief.
