The School of Energy and Power Engineering of Changsha University of Science and Technology consists of the former Power Engineering Department of Changsha Electric Power College, the "Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering" major of Hunan Light Industry College and the "Hydropower Station" major of Hunan Water Conservancy and Electric Power School.
