Annexin v evaluation

In normal cells, phosphatidylserine is only distributed in the lipid bilayer of cell membrane. In the early stage of apoptosis, membrane phosphatidylserine (PS) shifted from the inside of lipid membrane to the outside. Annexin V is a phospholipid binding protein with high affinity for phosphatidylserine, which binds to the cell membrane of early apoptotic cells through phosphatidylserine exposed outside cells. Therefore, Annexin V is a sensitive index to detect the early apoptosis of cells.

Binding buffer

Basic operation flow:

1. Apoptosis was induced according to the established procedure.

2. Prepare the required solution according to the instructions.

3. Suspend the cells in 1× binding buffer, and adjust the concentration to 2-5× 105/ml.
