1970 graduated from Tsinghua University engineering chemistry department (now chemical engineering department), majoring in physical chemistry, and has been teaching in this department since then. 1996- 1997 was a visiting scholar at emory university in the United States, and a member of the chemical education committee of chinese chemical society. The main teaching work is to offer undergraduate physical chemistry A, and the main research direction is electrochemistry.
