Recently, the Dutch technology blog LetsGoDigital also discovered another design patent application submitted by Xiaomi in September 2020, featuring the introduction of a pop-up camera module for folding screen equipment, which was officially listed in the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization on1October 20th.
As can be seen from the figure, Xiaomi chose a folding screen design similar to the original Samsung Galaxy Fold for this machine, and equipped with a small screen on the outside.
There is also an earpiece opening above the folded outer sub-screen (via LetsGoDigital).
The difference is that the machine does not use bangs to slot or perforate the screen, but hides and accommodates an electric lifting camera module, which can accommodate multiple camera sensors on the top frame.
The SIM card slot seems to be located above the left side of the fuselage (via LetsGoDigital).
There is also a vertical three-camera module located in the upper left corner of the back of the device, but Xiaomi did not share more parameter details. In addition, there is a USB-C charging/data port at the bottom of the device, a microphone opening at the top and bottom, and a volume adjustment/power button on the right.
