Quanfeng Lantern is an art performance activity between lanterns, drama and dance in Quanfeng Town, Xiushui, Jiangxi. The main feature is the performance of the lantern team. There are eight kinds of stunts in the lampwork, which are known as: sister-in-law grinding mill, mouse breaking beam, Liu Hai boat play, monkey beating Dui, Rengui shooting vulture, sisters watching flowers, Dong Bin carrying sword, Zhang San fighting tiger, all are play performances.

In 2006, the Quanfeng Lantern declared by Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province was approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China and included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list, project number: Ⅹ-52.

The inheritance status of Quanfeng lanterns

There are more than 20 lantern teams in Quanfeng Town, the most active ones are Tangcheng Street (where the town is located), Longquan Section, Huangsha Section, Mungdouwo, Huangpaochong, Shanshuping, Shangyuan and other places.

Each lantern team is equipped with gongs, drums, costumes, props and other equipment. The youngest actor is 16 years old and the eldest is more than 70 years old. They all have certain singing and performance abilities. There are more than 1,200 people in Longquan section, and 70% of them can sing lanterns, which shows its popularity. Now the main inheritor is Cao Zemin, whose ancestors have been singing lanterns for three generations.
