Zhejiang Hailong biological non-pestilence vaccine patent

There is no feasible vaccine for African swine fever to apply for patent listing, which is a very arduous task, and it is very difficult to study it for a while.

African swine fever is an acute and severe infectious disease in pigs, with the highest mortality of 100%. Because there are many ways of transmission, prevention and control are not easy, and once an epidemic occurs, it is difficult to eradicate it.

Early onset: sick pigs cough and a small amount of nasal fluid flows out of their nostrils. Slightly severe cases have gray sticky or purulent nasal discharge, accelerated breathing, and normal body temperature, spirit and diet. In the middle stage of the disease, the sick pigs showed obvious asthma and abdominal breathing, the number of breaths increased to 60-80 times/minute, the cough was low and deep, the loss of appetite was not obvious, and the body temperature increased slightly. In the later stage of the disease, the sick pig's asthma became worse, his mouth opened, his breathing sounded like bellows, his lungs were dry or wet when he was auscultated, his mucous membrane became cyanotic, his appetite decreased or even he was abandoned, his body became emaciated, his mood was depressed, he liked to lie down and was afraid of the cold, and he finally died of suffocation.

The research and development of African swine fever vaccine is a worldwide problem. So far, no African swine fever vaccine has been approved for marketing in the world. Vaccine research and development is a very complicated system engineering, especially for the biological safety of vaccines. Although we have made a good start, there is still a long way to go to successfully develop a safe, effective and quality-controllable African swine fever vaccine.

However, among 18 sows inoculated in Vietnam two months later, 16 pigs and 15 pigs were normal, and some sows had farrowing. Unvaccinated pigs were infected with African swine fever and died. African swine fever is the "enemy" that the whole world is fighting. Whether in China or other countries, as long as a truly reliable non-plague vaccine is developed, it will be a great news for the global pig industry.
