If upon formal examination the reexamination request does not comply with the relevant provisions of the Patent Law, its Implementing Rules and the Patent Examination Guidelines and requires correction, the Patent Reexamination Board will issue a notice of correction to the requester. The requester shall make corrections within the specified time limit from the date of receipt of the notification of correction. When replying to the notice of supplementation and correction, the requester shall submit the "Revision and Correction Notice for Reexamination and Invalidation Procedures" form formulated by the patent administration department of the State Council and the supplemented and corrected relevant documents.
