What is the principle of security inspection for packages, cups and luggage?

When the luggage enters the X-ray inspection channel, it will block the package detection sensor, and the detection signal will be sent to the system control part to generate an X-ray trigger signal, which will trigger the X-ray light source to emit an X-ray beam. The fan-shaped X-ray beam passing through the collimator passes through the detected object on the conveyor belt, and the X-ray is absorbed by the detected object, and finally bombards the dual-energy semiconductor detector installed in the channel. The detector converts X-rays into signals, and these weak signals are amplified and sent to the signal processing cabinet for further processing. These signals are processed and displayed on the display screen. No matter how many layers there are in the bag, X-rays can penetrate and show the contents of the bag layer by layer.

After X-ray inspection, the items in the luggage will show a general shape on the display screen, which will be displayed as yellow, green, black and so on. Generally, yellow items are organic substances, such as plastics and food, which are safe. Green and black items need attention. If there are many green or black objects, or they are in the shape of daggers or knives, passengers will be asked to open their luggage for inspection. Flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, radioactive, infectious disease pathogens, guns and ammunition, controlled knives and other items are strictly prohibited from entering the station. Once found, they will be confiscated. Kitchen knives, eating knives, fruit knives, handicraft knives, scissors, steel (iron) files, axes, hammers and other sharp and blunt tools. You are not allowed to carry it with you, but you should check it in your luggage.
