Gansu Medical College is a full-time medical undergraduate college with a long history and fine tradition. Its predecessor was Pingliang Health School in Gansu Province, which was founded in 1958. In 2003, it was upgraded to Pingliang Medical College, and in 20 15, it was upgraded to a medical undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
The College is located at the eastern foot of the famous Taoist mountain Kongtong in Zhong Ling, covering an area of 805 mu, with a building area of 22 1.500 square meters, with fixed assets of 560 million yuan, 28 party and government organs, teaching and research institutions, 852 faculty members (including affiliated hospitals), and 7,462 full-time students, including 4,064 undergraduates.
