What is a finger gyro?

Finger gyro, also known as fingertip gyro, is a small toy with symmetrical load-bearing structure, which can idle on fingers. It is a new type of object with a bidirectional or multidirectional symmetrical body as the main body and a bearing embedded in the middle of the main body, which can rotate in a plane. The basic principle of this object is similar to that of a traditional gyro, except that it needs several fingers to grasp and pull it to make it rotate.

Fingertip gyroscope has only one main physical function, that is, it relies on the principle of bearing rolling to achieve the effect of rotation. To play a fingertip gyro, you only need to provide a fixed fulcrum with the pinching force between your thumb and another finger, and then use the fingertip of the third finger to make it rotate. In addition, the appearance design, morphological structure, main materials and surface treatment of fingertip gyroscopes are different, and appearance innovations emerge one after another, so the rotating effect of fingertip gyroscopes is diversified and plastic.
