How to treat canine distemper at home?

Canine distemper can be treated with antiviral drugs at home, such as monoclonal antibody against canine distemper, interferon, serum and so on.

In order to prevent secondary infection, it is recommended to use antibiotics in combination. If the cough is serious, you can give the dog subcutaneous injections of butorphanol, pentoverine, aminophylline and other drugs. If there are too many respiratory secretions, you can use physiological saline for atomization treatment.
