First, the summer camp enrollment plan
The summer camp plans to recruit 25 campers. In principle, no more than three students can be admitted to the same school.
Second, the summer camp schedule
The summer camp is planned to be held from July 24th to 28th, 2022. See the follow-up notice for the detailed schedule.
Third, the registration application and admission process
1. The summer camp is open to the whole country, enrolling freshmen to juniors of science and technology (subject to the academic year of grade 202 1-2022). Under the same conditions, students majoring in earth science, astronomy, physics, information and aerospace are given priority.
2. List of application materials:
1) 1 2022 Original and scanned application form of Sun Yat-sen University's planetary science summer camp (attachment 1);
2) Two original letters of recommendation, and the recommender must be a class teacher, counselor or a teacher with a senior title (associate professor or above);
3)1Original informed consent of parents of Sun Yat-sen University's planetary science summer camp in 2022 (Annex 2);
4) Original transcripts of undergraduate courses at this stage and copies of other optional auxiliary materials (such as English proficiency certificate, award-winning certificate, publications or patent certificates reflecting personal academic level, etc.). Stamp the official seal of the applicant's college/department.
3. The electronic version of the application form should be sent to wuxsh23@mail.sysu.edu.cn by e-mail, with the title of "2022 Sun Yat-sen University Planetary Science Summer Camp". At the same time, send the original application form, the original parental informed consent form, the original undergraduate transcript and copies of other auxiliary materials to Mr. Wu, Room A220, Building 2, Zhongshan Campus, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province.
4. The registration time is from June 15 to July 10, 2022 (subject to the date of sending paper materials).
5. The selection qualification of the applicant shall be comprehensively examined and approved by experts organized by the laboratory, and the applicant shall be notified by mail.
