The college has two directly affiliated teaching and research sections, namely, the Department of Ecological Engineering, the Department of Materials Engineering, the Department of Architectural Engineering, the Department of Information Engineering, the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Economic Management, the Department of Normal Education, the Department of Training, the Department of Technical Secondary School, the Department of Basic Education, the Department of Political Theory and the Department of Physical Education. The existing 12 teaching department offers 39 majors, such as forest resources protection and interior design technology, focusing on ecological biology and covering information.
The teaching staff is strong. There are 2 18 full-time teachers in the college, including 147 teachers with deputy senior titles such as professors and associate professors, 37 teachers with master's degrees, 93 "double-qualified" teachers, 12 academic leaders of forest industry system, 19 academic leaders at college level, and provincial and college famous teachers. First-class experimental training conditions. The experimental training facilities of the main majors in the college are complete and in good condition. There are 85 laboratories including modern computer center, multimedia network, automotive electronics, wood products finishing, plant tissue culture, program-controlled exchange, digital communication and computerized accounting. Our own experimental forest farm has 5000 hectares of forest land. There are more than 400 kinds of trees and 654.38+10,000 plants in the campus botanical garden. The college has established more than 60 tight, loose and temporary joint practice bases between schools and enterprises, as well as well as well-equipped and advanced experimental practice bases. Cooperative education has broad prospects. As one of the online schools of Sino-German forestry education and training programs, the Institute has participated in the cooperation of German aid projects and now also participated in the cooperation of Sino-Japanese forestry ecological training center projects. At the same time, it has established sister schools and joint school relations with Russian Far East Technical University, Lafleur Che College in sanhe city, Quebec, and Thai Lai College.
