First of all, palm oil is one of the most important sources of vegetable oil in the world, accounting for more than 30% of the world's total oil production. It, together with soybean oil and rapeseed oil, is known as the three largest vegetable oils in the world, and has a wide range of uses in catering, food industry and oil industry respectively. At present, China has become the largest importer of palm oil in the world. The consumption of palm oil in China is about 6 million tons per year, accounting for 20% of the total market. As the main palm oil producing areas, Southeast Asia and Africa account for about 88% of the total palm oil production in the world.
Second, the oil palm tree is a perennial flowering crop, and as a result, it can be harvested all year round, and the production cycle can last for 25 years. Palm oil is made by squeezing palm fruit from oil palm trees. Oil palm fruit contains two different oils, palm oil from pulp and palm oil from white palm man. Therefore, oil palm is a good economic plant. Workers put the picked palm fruits into the car for processing. The production process of good palm oil palm oil is very complicated, mainly through several important processes such as sterilization, refining, decoloration and deodorization.
Thirdly, firstly, the palm fruit is poured into the machine, and the conveying equipment will convey the palm fruit to the boiler, which can not only sterilize but also soften the pulp by boiling at high temperature. After coming out of the high-temperature boiler, it is the process of crushing and extrusion. Crude palm oil and shredded palm can be obtained from palm fruit piles, and white palm kernels will be separated during pressing. After crushing again and removing the shell, the remaining nuts are squeezed to obtain crude palm oil.
Fourthly, after the primary extraction stage, crude palm oil and crude palm oil are sent to a refinery for refining. After removing free fatty acids, natural pigments and strong odor, it became palm salad oil. Refined palm oil is nearly colorless and transparent in liquid state, close to white palm oil in solid state, slightly sweet, with pleasant violet fragrance, and semi-solid at room temperature. Its consistency and melting point largely depend on the content of free fatty acids, which is low in the international market. Palm oil with low content is called soft oil, and palm oil with high free fatty acid content is called hard oil.
