Translation of The Reason for the Benevolent to Leshan (see supplementary explanation in classical Chinese)

Translation:

The mountains are towering; If it is towering, what is there to be happy about? Look at that high mountain. Plants grow on it, birds and animals multiply in it, and it produces countless assets and commodities without selfishness. It comes here from all directions to cut and hunt, and it often gives selflessly. It gives birth to clouds and rain to connect heaven and earth, so yin and yang complement each other, rain and dew moisten, everything can survive and grow, and the people eat and drink. This is why benevolent people enjoy mountains.
