Especially due to the rapid development of China's radial tire production in recent years and the advantages of pin-type cold feed extruders, The popularization and application of pin-type cold-feed extruders has greater advantages and has become a replacement product for hot-feed extruders and ordinary cold-feed extruders, providing broad development and development opportunities for pin-type cold-feed extruders. Application prospects.
With the emergence and widespread application of cold-feed extruders, the application scope of hot-feed extruders is gradually narrowing.
Rubber extruders have developed from hot feeding to cold feeding, and cold feeding pin extruders have become the mainstream of development. At present, pin-type extruders have been widely used in China's rubber industry, involving tire treads, radial tire sidewalls, bead rubber, various rubber hoses and inner lining films, etc. The machines used are both imported and domestically produced, with screw diameters ranging from 85 to 250 mm and aspect ratios of 12 to 16. Pin type cold feed extruders have many advantages over hot feed extruders and ordinary cold feed extruders. In the past ten years, it has been widely used in my country's rubber industry production, and its uses have been continuously expanded. The pin-type cold-feed extruder introduced early in the country is mainly used for radial tire tread rubber extrusion and rubber core and rubber coating production processes in rubber hose production. Most of today's semi-steel and all-steel radial tire treads are produced using pin-type cold-feed extruders. In the production process of bias tires and other rubber products, many manufacturers use pin-type cold feed extruders. In the rubber industry production, the traditional production process is the extruder as the molding and extrusion process equipment. The pin-type cold feed extruder has been widely used for steel wire and fiber cord calendering due to its large extrusion volume and good plasticizing effect. The glue is supplied to the machine and the airtight layer film calender. In recent years, pin-type cold-feed extruders have also been promoted for filtering glue and have been well received by users.
Pin-type cold-feed internal compound extruders have also been widely used in radial tire production and have become key equipment for radial tire production. Although some companies still use external compound extrusion processes in production, However, with the improvement and update of new technologies and new processes, as well as the development of the market economy, old production processes and equipment will be eliminated. Internal compound extruders are the inevitable development direction of compound production processes.
However, at present, hot-feed extruders still account for a large proportion of China's rubber industry production enterprises. According to incomplete statistics, the hot feed extrusion production process using open mills to supply glue accounts for about 70% in China. Many old rubber production companies in my country use extrusion equipment, processes and equipment from the 1950s. behind. Some companies believe that old extrusion equipment has certain advantages, such as good rubber dispersion in open mills, good operability, and skilled operators. However, the advantages of pin-type cold-feed extruders are greater than those of hot-feed extruders. Out of the machine. The pin-type cold-feed extruder represents the development direction of rubber extruders and has great development potential.
