What is ABS?
ABS is the abbreviation of Anti-LockBrakeSystem, namely "Brake Anti-lock System". Without ABS, if the tire is locked during emergency braking, the braking distance will become longer due to the sliding friction between the tire and the ground after locking. The front wheel is locked, and the car loses its lateral steering force, which is easy to run off; When the rear wheel is locked, the rear wheel will lose its lateral grip and it is easy to flick its tail. Especially on snowy roads, it is more likely to happen when braking suddenly. ABS controls wheel locking by controlling the release of brake oil pressure. Its working process is actually a cycle of locking-releasing-locking-releasing, so that the vehicle is always in a critical locking gap rolling state.
