Springfield M 1A SOCOM 16 CQB rifle has been modified according to ergonomics to meet the requirements of modern defense rifles. The Archangel gunstock system was replaced, with two fixed heights on the cheek plate and a Vickers belt filled with blue power gear on the back of the docking QD belt. The small handle is convenient for grasping and pulling the trigger, and can be replaced by other AK small grippers.
SOCOM 16 CQB has two 70mm M-shaped LK universal interfaces on both sides of the protective wood. Below are four 32mm MLLK universal interfaces for installing any required accessories.
The rifle being tested is equipped with three Picardini rails, with SureFire M300 mini reconnaissance light on the right and Magpur RVG vertical handle on the bottom. The barrel is also equipped with Picardini guide rail, which is standard no matter where the optical sight is installed.
M 1 Garland is a semi-automatic rifle with eight missing needles. M 14 is a 1959 rifle used by the US military. It is basically a "fully evolved" M 1 Garland. Shorter 7.62x 5 1 mm (.308 Winchester) single-shot ammunition, but in fact, it is difficult for most soldiers to control their own shooting, so 1970 M 14 was replaced by a small caliber M 16 rifle.
The aperture of the camera door of the gun is 3.4mm, which is larger than the military standard. It can adjust the wind direction and range. Fixed in the dovetail groove of the magazine loader. Although it blocks the mechanical sight, this special miniature red dot sight is very powerful and easy to use.
The "civilian version" of M 14 is m1a. The gun has only semi-automatic mode and uses the same 20 magazines to load ammunition. Springfield Arsenal, founded in 1974, is a private company headquartered in Geneseo, Illinois. Its first product is M1A.
Arsenal in Springfield, Massachusetts went bankrupt on 1964 after no competition in the continuous mode.
The M 1A SOCOM 16QBI tested is the latest model of M 1A, represented by CQB (near field combat). This is a completely modern defensive rifle. When the stock is shrunk, the total length is only 905mm, which is nearly 25mm shorter than M 1A standard, and 7.62x 5 1mm ammunition is still used. This is a photo of the M 1A bullet. The clip is clamped on the clip. Press the magazine with your thumb, and the bullet will enter the magazine below.
The loader is connected with the shell through dovetail groove, and then fixed with diagonal rear bolts. The connection is very stable. Although M 14 can use magazine to load ammunition, it is equipped with magazine loader to facilitate magazine loading and unloading.
But this is rarely used, just rarely used to fill the magazine quickly. SOCOM 16 CQB miniature red dot sight base is to replace the magazine loader, so that the sight has a very good installation position.
SOCOM 16 CQB bucket is 4 13 mm long, and Springfield's patented "Pepper Bottle (Porous)" brake is used. This nozzle device is excellent in reducing recoil.
At the top of the muzzle, there is an alignment constellation with a fixed dovetail slot, which is equipped with a Trijicon tritium phototube. TIJICON tritium tube is equipped for aiming at night. The gun comes with a 10 magazine, which can be purchased from the after-sales service in Springfield or the standard 20-round magazine from the gun shop.
SOCOM 16 CQB is equipped with a 4 13mm long phosphating carbon steel barrel with six right-handed rifling lines, and the winding distance is1:1. The patented "pepper bottle" brake can reduce the recoil and the range of muzzle jump at the same time, which is convenient for rapid and continuous shooting.
Most guns are the same as SOCOM 16 introduced in 2004, equipped with the same shell, Garland gun set, air guide and safety, and the excellent trigger assembly on which M 1A became famous.
By installing a vertical small grip and an independent small grip different from the traditional stock, the control ability of this rifle is greatly improved, making it easier to shoot quickly and continuously. Archangel gunstock makes recoil transmission more direct, and its length can be adjusted to meet the needs of different users and different states.
The cheek plate has two fixed positions, which can make better use of the mechanical sights on the gun and various optical sights with different heights. This is a fully controllable combat rifle, using 7.62×5 1mm full-power ammunition.
Even if there is a large recoil after shooting, the shooter still maintains complete control of the gun. Even when firing 147 military surplus ammunition made 30 years ago, SOCOM 16 CQB can conduct rapid and continuous firing with very dense distribution.
In order to test the accuracy of M 1A SOCOM 16 CQB, the target paper was set at a distance of 46 meters and three shots were fired accurately. Usually, the test accuracy is 9 1.4m, but since there was no suitable magnifying optical sight at that time, the shooting distance was set at 46m to reduce human error in this respect.
* * * Six kinds of ammunition were used for the accuracy test. Projectile weight 150 ~ 175 grains, and the brands are Montenegro, Hornaday, Federal and Remington. All these ammunition should be dispersed within 25mm.
Surprisingly, Hornandy 155 steel-shell competition ammunition has the best accuracy, and its three-wheel dispersion diameter is 16.5mm, which is equivalent to1.3 MoA. In all tests, M 1A SOCOM 16 CQB has no fault.
