It is reported that the computing platform has a powerful and energy-efficient Xavier system-on-chip, and has L4 level autonomous driving computing capabilities, which can achieve 30 seconds per second. Based on one trillion operations, the power consumption is only 30 watts, and the energy efficiency is 15 times that of the previous generation architecture. At the same time, Xavier meets today's stringent safety standards and regulatory requirements, providing the redundancy and compatibility necessary to handle multiple sensor data.

According to previous news, the Xpeng P7 will be equipped with the XPILOT 3.0 autonomous driving assistance system. The hardware is equipped with 13 cameras, 5 millimeter wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radars.

Dr. Wu Xinzhou, Vice President of Autonomous Driving at Xpeng Motors, said: "Xavier's performance and energy efficiency have accelerated our development of this safe, smart and feature-rich second-generation smart electric model. Xpeng P7 has already It has become the most popular smart coupe in the fiercely competitive electric vehicle market. In the future, Xpeng Motors will provide more competitive, optimized, applicable and safer autonomous driving functions to a wider range of consumers.”

Rishi Dhall, vice president of autonomous vehicles at Nvidia, said: “Chinese consumers will soon be able to experience the highly intelligent autonomous driving functions of Xpeng P7, which also confirms Xavier’s super processing power, Efficiency, security and scalability."
