What is the patent?
Patent, literally, refers to the exclusive right. The word "patent" comes from Latin Litteraepatentes, which means open letters or open documents. It is a certificate used by medieval monarchs to issue certain privileges, and later refers to the exclusive rights certificate signed by the British king himself.
In modern times, patents are generally documents issued by government agencies or regional organizations representing several countries according to their applications. This kind of document records the contents of the invention and creation, and in a certain period of time, it has produced such a legal state that under normal circumstances, a patented invention and creation can only be implemented by others with the permission of the patentee.

The difference between invention authorization and invention announcement
Invention authorization is the act of authorizing others to implement after obtaining a patent. The invention announcement simply means that the content of your invention application will no longer be kept secret, but will be made public through the invention announcement procedure.
After an application for a patent for invention has passed the preliminary examination, it shall be prepared for publication within fifteen months from the date of filing (the priority date shall prevail if there is priority) and published after the expiration of eighteen months. The methods of publication include: patent bulletin; China National Intellectual Property Administration's official website announced.

If the application for a patent for invention is rejected after preliminary examination and substantive examination, the Patent Office shall make an authorization decision, issue a patent certificate, register and announce it. It takes about 1-2 years for an invention patent to be authorized.
