Fujian Institute of Technology is located in Fuzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, and is known as the gateway to the Maritime Silk Road. The school was founded by Sun Baoyu, Lin Shu, a famous gentry in Fujian, and Chen Yu 1896, the last emperor. It was the first modern school in Fuzhou in modern times.
