At the same time, he often goes deep into the front line of fishery production and insists on providing technical services to aquatic product processing enterprises to help them solve production technical problems. Since 2006, it has provided technical services for aquatic products processing enterprises in Zhoushan, Taizhou, Shaoxing and Jiaxing for nearly a thousand times. Especially in remote islands such as Shengsi Lycium barbarum, it overcame the inconvenience of work and life, solved the key technology of mussel processing and comprehensive utilization technology of waste liquid for enterprises, and successfully developed a series of mussel processing products. The breakthrough of mussel processing technology has expanded the market, increased the added value of mussels and increased the income of fishermen. At present, the export volume of mussels in Shengsi accounts for 56% of the whole country, and the products are exported to foreign countries. Mussel breeding and processing has become the main way for local fishermen to become rich and well-off, with remarkable economic and social benefits.

Professor Dai Zhiyuan is responsible for building the National Marine Fish Processing Technology Research and Development Sub-center (Hangzhou), Zhejiang Fishery Science and Technology Innovation Service Platform, Aquatic Products Processing Technology Innovation Research and Development Center and Zhejiang Aquatic Products Processing Industry Innovation Team. The construction level is first-class in China and leading in the province, and it has become a modern aquatic product processing R&D platform that can not only carry out basic research on aquatic product processing and application, but also carry out pilot and engineering development. More than 20 doctoral and master students majoring in aquatic product processing were recruited and trained, and young and middle-aged scientific and technological personnel were organized to carry out technical research, which provided scientific and technological support and services for the development of aquatic product processing industry in our province.
