Rootstock varieties of grafted roses

The rootstocks of Chinese rose grafting are generally Rosaceae plants, such as Chinese rose, Chinese rose, wild rose and Rosa davurica. The roots of these plants are relatively developed, and the stronger the plant growth, the stronger the disease resistance, which is suitable for grafting Chinese rose in spring. Cut a small mouth obliquely on the cut branch, the incision should not be too long, and it should be controlled between 2 ~ 3 cm. After cutting, soak in water and dry. Plants such as wild roses or vigorous roses are selected as rootstocks, and the rootstocks are crosscut, and the incision should go deep into the woody part of the bark. Stick the cut of the rose branch on the cut of the rootstock and wrap it tightly with a string.

Pay attention to the grafting of Chinese rose. Grafted plants are vulnerable to pests and diseases. When choosing rootstocks, we must choose strong rootstocks without diseases, which can enhance the disease resistance of plants. During the curing period, carbendazim or chlorothalonil should be sprayed appropriately for disinfection and sterilization. Generally, it can be sprayed 1 time within 15 ~ 20 days, which can effectively control pests and diseases.
