Each switching station is equipped with 3 parking spaces and 5 high-voltage batteries, which can continuously accept cloud dispatching service owners.
B, pit stop
The attendant will take over the vehicle from the Energy Conservation Commissioner or the owner, be responsible for dumping the vehicle into the power exchange station, and trigger the "Enter Power Exchange Mode" button on the ES8 central control screen.
After entering the power exchange mode, ES8 and the power exchange station complete the authentication process of Wifi connection. During the authentication process, the switching station will confirm that the ES8 is a command sent by the system to the vehicle.
In the "variable power mode", first, the vehicle will release the air suspension, and then relax the control of the tires so that they can follow without locking, and then the vehicle will enter the variable power mode.
C, change the electricity
The personnel on duty get off and lock the car, enter the control room, enter the service password, and click the "Start" button. At this time, the yellow light of station ES8 will flash, indicating that the vehicle has completed the self-inspection, the high-voltage circuit of the battery pack has been disconnected, and ES8 enters the sleep mode. At this time, the push rod pushes ES8 to the horizontal center position, and the vehicle position is basically adjusted. Then the four lifting arms will lift the car, and the power changing robot RGV will start the power changing action.
RGV is the essence of NIO power station. In nearly 300 patents of power stations, robots account for a large share. It is equipped with 10 unlocking devices, and it is accurately positioned by the visual recognition device arranged inside the power exchange platform. The unlocking device will rise to the 10 bayobolt bolt at the bottom of the vehicle and start rotating to unlock.
Bayobolt is a patented technology of Weilai, which is characterized by not only ensuring the connection strength, but also allowing some floating; Combined with RGV floating base, visual recognition and body positioning pin, the accurate docking of unlocking device and bolt can be guaranteed to the maximum extent.
After about 15 seconds, the battery is unlocked, and the battery changing robot puts the battery down and rotates it 90 degrees counterclockwise. The battery is transported back to the battery bin, and the battery is transported by roller rolling and chain drive, and the elevator moves up and down; After the empty battery is delivered in place, the charging connector and the water-cooling connector in the warehouse are automatically connected to ensure that the empty battery starts charging at constant temperature.
The hydropower quick-change connector of the battery compartment of the power station is the same as that on the ES8 chassis. At the moment when the battery is disconnected and connected, the coolant can be sealed instantly without leakage.
At the same time, transport the fully charged battery to the bottom of ES8, and repeat the process of visual positioning, rotation and locking. Finally, tighten bayobolt to complete the power exchange action.
D, detection &; Off-site bound
When ES8 is completed, the indicator light will light up, indicating that the battery has been successfully installed. After that, the system will self-check, turn on the switch of high and low voltage components, connect the high voltage circuit and wake up the on-board computer.
At the same time, the main control screen of the power exchange station shows "End of power exchange", and the whole power exchange process takes about 3 minutes, after which the Commissioner can drive ES8 away from the power exchange station.
NIO electric power 2020 planning
At the online communication meeting of NIO Power 2020, Dr. Shen Fei, Vice President of Weilai Power Management, revealed the current situation and future planning of NIO Power to us. In NIO power system, there are many ways and services of energy supplement, such as power exchange, mobile charging, fast charging piles, household piles and so on. In 2020, NIO Power will bring more benefits to new and old users.
NIO Power will have four main tasks in 2020: 1, and release version 2.0 of household exclusive pile, which will bring a brand-new energy-replenishing experience to Weilai users; In February and June, 20kWh household exclusive fast charging pile was put into use to meet users' fast charging needs; 3. Expand and upgrade the power exchange network to meet the rapidly growing demand of Weilai users; 4. Realize the flexible interchange of 70kWh-84kWh- 100kWh battery pack.
The most important points are the third and fourth points. Although NIO Power currently has more than 100 power stations, its popularity in cities is not enough. The 100kW battery pack will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2020, and it will cost 58,000 yuan to upgrade from the existing 70kWh battery pack to 100kWh battery pack at one time. This fee is not low, and I believe that there are not many car owners who purchase and upgrade in full. Therefore, NIO Power will give car owners a more flexible way to use, and realize the flexible interchange of three kinds of battery packs, 70kWh-84kWh- 100kWh. In June, NIO Power will put into use 20kWh household DC fast charging pile. Compared with the traditional AC household charging pile, the charging efficiency of household fast charging pile will be higher and the charging time will be shortened. However, Dr. Shen Fei also said that household fast-filling piles are still in the initial stage, and the hardware cost is high. The installation site needs to support three-phase power supply, which will have a certain threshold for users. The 2.0 version of the household exclusive pile will become smaller and smarter.
