A profile of Comrade Wu Jinying, the founder and chairman of the school
Wu Jinying was born in August 1953. He enlisted in the 44th Regiment of the 15th Anti-aircraft Artillery Division of the Air Force in November 1969, and later went abroad with the army to participate in the Anti-Japanese War. During the U.S.-Aid Vietnam War, he was diligent in study and brave in fighting. He joined the party on the battlefield and was a disabled revolutionary soldier who had won four military exploits.
In 2002, Wu Jinying successfully applied to establish Quanzhou Zhongying Vocational College on the basis of the original school, and served as the chairman and party committee secretary of the college. After 11 years of running a higher vocational school, he has worked hard and dedicatedly. Today, Quanzhou Polytechnic Vocational College (formerly renamed Zhongying) offers 29 majors in 6 departments, with more than 5,400 students and more than 380 faculty members. It is the leading vocational education college in Fujian Province. Advanced unit, Fujian Provincial Civilized School, took the lead among private colleges and universities in the province to pass the evaluation of the Ministry of Education. It has made great achievements in education and teaching. Previous graduates have been highly praised by employers, and has been awarded as an outstanding unit in the provincial employment evaluation for 7 consecutive years. The six educational goals he proposed: "good health, good employment, high development potential after graduation, light family burden on students, low national financial investment, and large social contribution" have been deeply embedded in the college's educational history.
At the end of 2010, he took the initiative to apply to become a pilot institution for the "Reform of the Non-profit Private College Running System" in Fujian Province, and donated all the hundreds of millions of assets invested in the school to the society. Today, Wu Jinying is fully committed to the construction of the college's 500-acre new campus, embarking on his and the entire college's second entrepreneurial journey. Zang Shuliang, a member of the Communist Party of China, a second-level professor, a doctorate, a doctoral supervisor, and an honorary doctorate from Baskill State University in Russia. He is currently the president of Quanzhou Polytechnic Vocational College and the director of the Automotive Clean Energy Fujian University Application Technology Engineering Center. Graduated from Liaoning University majoring in inorganic chemistry and has been engaged in chemistry teaching and scientific research for many years.
